UBS and London Stock
Exchange Group – aka LSEG
– are partnering so that the Swiss bank can use the UK
business's data and analytics solutions.
The partnership, which will run for a number of years, encompasses different asset classes, business franchises and trade lifecycle of the bank, LSEG said in a statement yesterday.
LSEG did not disclose terms and financial aspects of the arrangement when asked by WealthBriefing and WealthBriefingAsia.
“By consolidating data infrastructure, enhancing data cataloguing, and streamlining data governance and access across the bank, the partnership will strengthen UBS’s ability to meet evolving needs and serve clients with greater agility and precision,” LSEG said.
“The partnership also positions UBS to benefit from the next-generation capabilities on LSEG Workspace. These include cloud-native analytics, AI-powered modelling tools, and enhanced interoperability across platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Excel – all designed to accelerate innovation and improve decision-making across UBS’s value chain,” it continued.
